This is the face of a boy who was ready to go to school!! He had been excited for this day since before he was 3 1/2 years old. His preschool is called Wonderland Academy and his teacher (who is from near Raymond Alberta, CAN by the way) is named Elna Heap. Rulon thinks she is the very best teacher ever. Rulon is actually at the end of his 2nd week of school but these pics were from his first day.
Mads wasn't smiling quite so big when he didn't get to go to school WITH Rulon.
On day one there was an art project all ready and waiting for the kids to arrive... name mosaics.
This is Rulon's teacher getting him started as I made my exit.

Looks like he was plenty excited and comfortable for his first day. Sophie is feeling Mads pain. She tells me throughout the day "I miss my kids Mom."
