Gino Castignoli is the MAN!!!!

For those of you who don't know, Gino is one of those life time hero's that only come around once in a life time.... Gino is a construction worker that lives in the Bronx, and was a member of a construction crew working on the new Yankee Stadium that will go into operation next season. What sets Gino apart is that he is a Red Sox fan. He is now a hero to many since he buried a David Ortiz #34 home jersey in the new visitors locker room. The jersey was buried under 2 feet of concrete, and would have forever cursed the Yankee's. However the gig is up, and Yankee management found out about the jersey and spent 5 hours digging it up. Yankee management spoke to the New York district attorney and considered pressing criminal charges... Here's what Gino had to say.

"It's typical Yankees," Castignoli told the Boston Herald on Monday. "It's not like I snuck in there. It didn't do any structural damage. I didn't put anyone in harm's way."
Castignoli, 46, said he became a Red Sox fan during his childhood in 1975 when he idolized slugger Jim Rice.
As construction began for the new Yankee Stadium, Castignoli said his union got after him to work on the project. The Red Sox fan was reluctant.
"I would not go near Yankee Stadium, not for all the hot dogs in the world," he told the Herald.
But he relented, and hatched the plan to plant the jersey. He said he worked just a single day at the stadium project.
"It was worth it," he said.

This guy rules, and he should get Red Sox tickets for life.... I wish I was him... well not him, cause I love my family, you know wife and boys and mom and dad and brothers and sisters.... But Gino really kicks ASS...

Here's a Photo.. How cool is that?

Oh.., I miss that sweet leg of mine

And when I say leg of mine.... I mean family of mine... I don't know if anyone realizes this but we have one sweeeeeet family... Our family is so cool It's hard to describe.... It's like Carbonate cool.. for those that don't know what that is, it is what Han solo gets frozen in Empire Strikes Back... I am not confessing my NERD HOOD, I just began watching the Star Wars movies with Rulon... And by the way he loves Darth Vader.. and Chewbaca.. Cause Chewy looks sasquatchish and Rulon loves uncle Dave... Rulon also told me " I'm not a nice guy anymore dad..... I'm a bad guy like Darth Vader... but I'm a shootin bad guy"..... What a funny boy... Even a bad guy has to show his soft side... Last night I was watching the end of the new king Kong movie, and Rulon was watching the airplanes shoot at king Kong... This made him very concerned for that big monkey... Rulon Said " that big monkey looks sad dad.... is he tired?" then I said ya tired of all the shooting... then king Kong fell and Rulon got such a sad look on his face and said " I don't want that big monkey to fall... he just likes that girl..." Then Rulon began to cry and ran to Julie.... He felt sooooo sad for king Kong.... He was tender all night from that sadness...

Anyway back to the coolness of our family.... everyone is soooo different and so great... I love getting pictures of every ones fun... I loved the ones that Norma sent to me with her and peg and dyl.. Shredding the Gnar and letting everyone taste their lightening.... I don't know if anyone recognized the grandpa Bert suspenders on Norm.. they took her riding to the next level... and Peg is just ferocious.. I had no idea she could rip like that..

IT was sooooo fun having Norma at our house for a whole week.. I recommend it to everyone who needs some happiness in their life... A little Norma is just like the best medicine... Her joy may be able to cure cancer... It's true... Love you Norm... And Fam... Oh... if any of you want to donate money to Charity... it will go to a great cause...

This Sexy Ride!!!!!!

Wouldn't I look hot on this man machine?? Give generously.. Thanks

The season starts anew!

As the weather warms, so do the competitive spirits of the aged but faithful; yes that’s right the weekend warriors of the summer softball leagues.

Orem and Provo have many leagues and many divisions for summer softball that all start this weekend, April 11. The leagues consist of Men’s, Women’s, and Co-ed; they then divide them from recreational or noncompetitive to extremely competitive for the diehards.

Walking up and down the aisles at Parks Sportsman men can be found looking for anything to gain an edge. Cleats or perhaps a pair of new batting gloves, and wrist bands to match is all they need.

Or is it? Is this the year they will finally buy the glove that could result in a divorce? “But honey they say it’s what the Pro’s wear, plus it’s the last glove I’ll ever buy.” Most of them never make the call home, but put it on and pound a fist into it. To the men of softball it’s like test driving a fine car they could never afford. They take it off and walk like a battle weary soldier to the register and just buy the socks that were in the sale bin.

Not this season for fifty year old softballer Gary Arnold. He walks like a proud new father with dream glove in hand toward the register. Arnold is an Orem man that has spent the last twenty five years playing competitive softball. He has traveled all over the country and played with the best of them.

“I figured this was my year,” Arnold says. “I just turned fifty and I got a motor cycle, and this glove. Plus I’m already divorced so it’s not like I need permission.”

Josh Walker, who has played against Arnold for several years, looks on with wanton eyes as he tries to justify spending half a mortgage payment on a baseball glove.

When asked why he won’t make the purchase, Walker said, “I can’t do it. I’d rather not sleep in the garage for the next month, so for now I’ll just take the socks.”
