Shots anyone?
Just thought it might be interesting to show all the drugs I am taking during this IVF process. Each box is all full of liquid suspensions for multiple injections - daily over the next 2 to four weeks. You should see the pile of needles I have (didn't feel the need to put them in the pic).

Mud Bog!!
Ok, so clearly Grandpa Dennis knew best when he came up with this idea!!!!!!!!!! These mud bog pictures have got to be some of the best vacation photos ever. For those who weren't there, here's the idea: Hard manual labor to dig a "moat" fill it with water, throw in golf balls worth various amounts of money and send in the kids to find them.

Thanks for this one Melis!

Sleeping Arrangements
When we returned home from St. George on July 19th Chester decided to transition Mads from crib to semi-big boy bed. Translation no longer contained. I'd say it's going great. He didn't come out of his room anyway.
This was Mads choice resting spot tonight, he has not been feeling well (temperature for 2+ days now) and he got the basket pillows and snuggled right in then requested the blanket. He was NOT happy when I plucked him out for bed time in his real bed.

Other Canada Vacation Highlights
Donut Extravaganza!! I am telling you the truth when I say these are the most tastey donuts ever!! For Real, no jokes. Rulon, my picky bird eater ate 3 and wanted more. There is no report on how many Julie ate... anywhere, so don't even try to find out.

Our last dinner was all kinds of yumminess out at the firepit, it is quite the set up out there!
Oh, and the baseball tournament, we may not have won but at least we didn't lose a child this year (ok that was 2 yrs ago but I still get sick over it) The men all had various kinds of facial hair "styles" and everyone played hard and all that good stuff. It was fun to watch the family play!

Mads' Canada favorites
#1. Without a doubt jumping on the trampoloine was Mads number one favorite thing to do, ALL OF THE TIME. All he wanted to do was jump... alone!

#2. Watching the baseball games with Rulon and cheering for his dad! ...and then losing interest and finding dirt and rocks and "solleys" - that's ants for you big people who don't know little people words.
#3. All the toys at Grandma and Grandpa's house, this airplane was flown a time or two by the Madser Man.

Rulon's Canada favorites
#1. GRANDMA MONA!! Rulon had Grandma to himself every morning for about an hour or so before the rest of us came upstairs. She helped him get some breakfast to eat and then they chatted and played together. One morning Grandma even took him to the store to get chocolate chips to make cookies. What a lucky boy! (By the way, the garbage can Rulon has his feet on is Mona's flour "container".)
#2. Playing, playing and more playing with cousins and toys.
#3. Riding on Uncle Mark's motorcycle with his daddy a few times. (This may have been Chester's #1 fav...)
#4. Watching the Canada Day parade on his mom's lap.
#5 Eating snacks... this photo was after eating some cake with black frosting!!
Rulon was so sad to leave Canada that he got a little emotional as we drove away. He had SO MUCH FUN!
