Happy mischief maker

Of course you cannot fully appreciate the beautiful mess Mads made in these pictures, but every mom knows how it goes. All is calm, Mom is having a once in a lifetime adult chat with a friend in the living room only to realize a child is missing and quiet... And why not find said child in the bathroom with a huge smile on, after all a bottle of conditioner and a box of Kotex liners is a BLAST with no restrictions from a tidy mom. :)
Here he is pointing out a lovely blob that he smeared into the cupboard door. The whole bathroom smelled so fresh and clean, thanks Mads! There were conditioner blobs on all the obvious places, tub, toilet, rug, wall...

Brett's too-short visit

Other than being too short, Brett's visit was perfect. He flew out on a cheap flight for a weekend in the beginning of March. Rulon was in kiddo heaven. Brett played games and music with him and read books and whatever else Rulon wanted to do. This was their jam session right before Brett took off to go back home.

Not one to be left out, Mads enjoyed the music too but had to pull this great face when I took a picture...

Ugh, more snow.

Yup this is from this morning, March 30th.

morning energy

If only I had the energy of a 2 year old!! In the mornings I either hear Mads yelling, "MOMMY, MOOOOMMMY!!" Or I just hear a commotion, which is usually him jumping in his bed or running from side to side.
