This weekend was GREAT, or in Mads words, "so much of the best things all in the same two days!" We went to the Richards house on Friday night for a sleepover... a huge treat for the boys for a hundred reasons. The kids watched a movie and Melissa and I talked and talked and talked. On Saturday morning we met Uncle Chuck in Sandy at the model train show. So cool! The kids loved all the trains, tracks, landscapes, buildings... it really was impressive.
Chuck was awesome, told the kids all about the trains and answered question after question - mostly from Rulon - and really helped Melissa and I keep track of all 6 of them amongst the crowd of people.
Mina and Colby were buddies in their strollers most of the time. They were really good considering the limitations for them!
This was Rulon's favorite train, a steam engine that was so REAL, just small. It puffed real steam as it chugged by. Rulon had to go see it again right before we left the show.
We waited in a bit of a line for the kids to have a little ride in Thomas the Train, they really packed the kids in! For some reason Rulon did not want to ride in the train, so Jessica let Mina sit with her on the ride. (Thanks Jessi)
It was such fun to see Chuck and to have such a new and different way to spend our Saturday morning.

This is one of Mina's favorite spots... right behind me. This time I was working on a school project with Rulon, but it really doesn't matter what I'm doing. Mina usually says, "Mom, move (meaning scoot forward) I a hug a back." It slows me down a bit but I really really love it. She does this while I'm sewing too, so straight lines get a little more challenging :)
I don't know what goes on at onyone else's house at bedtime... but tonight at our house there was some Full Cotton Pillow Jousting (of sorts) also called fighting.
