It has been a little while ago now, but across the end of June and beginning of July we went to Canada to visit Chester's family and join in the July 1st festivities!
And this is just Chester's immediate family, mom, dad, 6 bros and 6 sisters! 
I love this series of pictures! Chester and Mark decided to get their dad with some big fat smooches... Gord had no hope of escaping! The last pic is so great with Chester and his dad smiling so big. I love my husband so much, and I know where he gets all his goodness - from his dad! I just love Gordie, almost as much as Chester loves him :)
You wouldn't even know that Rulon was in a rotton mood...
And, well, Erin may not be my "real" sister but she might as well be. Isn't this just the cutest little family?! Steph, Erin and Maslin. Maslin is only ablut 5 months younger than Mads.
Rulon and Julie also got to go horseback riding, Rulon was a little nervous at first, but then he was really proud of himself!
Rulon's favorite place to play was the sand box... he just didn't like to get cleaned up AFTER playing in the sand box.
These little dudes are going to be good buddies!! Mads and Maslin got to play, push eachother over, slobber on blocks and truely bond.

AND THEN THERE WAS SOFTBALL!!!! The true "reason" for the family to get together... ok, not really, but almost. First of all you must see the fabulous, almost famous facial hair that brings good luck to team Powelson...

Ummm, excuse me. Who is the awesome photographer for all of those AWESOME shots? Was it you? Cause you better share the skills. Please mail me some photo perfection skills because you got some of the most AMAZING shots! From the Chester and his Dad shots, to the big truck shots, to the baseball ones (love the one of Chester holding Rulon) and you at the end and a thousand more that I have to look back at to talk about specifically. WOW! And it was fun to see Erin and Steph and their cute little guy!
You did so much on your trip. I couldn't help but think about tractor rides and horseback riding at Grandpa's ranch.
You're creating great memories for Rulon and tons of loving for all your boys.
